PRODUCT FEATURES

The Thermablaster 15,000 BTU Infrared Portable Heater is the perfect solution for workshops. The RE5000FS is compact enough so it doesn’t take up a lot of space on your table. A powder coat black finish keeps the sharp look expected from a Thermablaster. An adjustable head allows the end user to move the front of the heater from level upward to a 45 degree angle. This heater requires no electricity and uses a piezo igniter to light. The infrared radiant heat provides warmth to all objects within a 10 foot radius. This heater connects to a standard 20 lb. propane tank. The propane tank is NOT included, however the regulator and hose are standard. This heater meets the latest ANSI standards for operation (ANSI Z83.7 • CSA 2.14) CSA Certified.

A few items to consider about this heater

  • You MUST properly & securely connect the two wires to the tip over switch in order for the heater to stay lit after igniting. The heater must sit flat and secure on a solid surface when igniting.
  • Do not hold down the gas button without simultaneously hitting the igniter button. This will cause excess gas to leak and cause flash out when the igniter button is pressed.
  • It is recommended to turn the propane tank off when not in use.
  • It is important to keep this heater away from direct wind. The portability of this heater allow the user to turn the heater away from the wind. Windy conditions blow the heat away from the heater anyway and defeat the purpose of the heater. Moving the heater could cause the tip over switch to shut the heater down. Turn the heater off prior to moving.
